Geothermal Energy

Geothermal energy refers to heat energy stored in the ground. Heat is supplied to the ground from two sources namely the hot core of the planet and the sun. It can be classified as either 'deep' or 'shallow' depending on the depths involved.

A Geothermal heat pump is both environmentally friendly and cost effective. Extremely efficient, savings of up to 50% can be made using Geothermal.
The system uses natural warmth from the ground to heat your house, it is installed under the ground-below the frost line-where the earth is at a constant temperature, approximately between 4-8 degrees Celsius.
Although this sounds extremely cold due to the efficiency of a Geothermal system water can be heated up to 50 degrees Celsius.
